All Eris speakers feature Kevlar® low frequency transducers, low-mass silk-dome tweeters, and responsive Class AB amplification. The ultra-compact and potable E4.5 has a 4.5-inch low-frequency driver and a 25W Class AB amplifier that gives it plenty of juice. The next step up in size and power is the E5, which sports a 5.25-inch low-frequency driver and a 45W Class AB amplifier. For an extended low-frequency response and a bit more muscle, step up to the Eris E8. With its 8-inch low-frequency driver and 75 watt, Class AB power amplifier, the E8 can range down to 35 Hz, but still reach the high frequencies of the E5. All Eris speakers have front-ported enclosures made of vinyl-laminated MDF. Pro features allow you to tailor the speakers response to your needs. All Eris speakers provide Input Gain controls, and three EQ controls in their Acoustic Tuning section: High, Mid, and Low Cutoff. In addition to the Acoustic Tuning controls, there is a three-position Acoustic Space switch. This switch controls a second-order, low shelving filter that cuts the level of all frequencies below 800 Hz by a specified amount. This combination of controls lets you adjust the Eris monitors response and test your mixes without leaving your studio. With three different types of audio inputs, its easy to feed audio to your Eris monitors from a mixer, an interface, a media player, or almost any other line-level source. The E5 and E8 provide balanced XLR, balanced ¼ TRS, and unbalanced RCA line-level inputs. The E4.5 has balanced ¼ TRS and unbalanced RCA inputs, as well as unbalanced 1/8 inputs for your smartphone or MP3 player. 4.5-inch (E 4.5) / 5.25-inch (E5) / 8-inch (E8) Kevlar® low-frequency transducer. 1-inch (25 mm), ultra-low-mass, silk-dome, high-frequency transducer.
