PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a Studer A 820 2 Analog 24 Track Multitrack Tape Recorder loaded w/ Dolby SR/A cards. Dolby SR/A card on every track (24 total). Additional cooling fans were added to the back of the unit by previous owner. Does not include remote control. ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: This item comes as seen in photos, and does not include any accessories. Unlike the Studer A827, this machine is fully operational without a remote control. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Very Good – The front panel leather armrest has some snags and tears which is about the only blemish on this fine tape recorder. Pinch roller is missing but all other elements in the tape path and the heads look to be in terrific shape. The wood side-panels have a few minor dings, mostly near the front corner. All buttons and meters are in excellent condition. Overall condition is very good. WORKING CONDITION: Very Good – All meters and all channels are in excellent working condition. Four channel cards are missing that affect the functionality of channels 9, 11 and 12. We borrowed cards from another Studer A 820 to test 9, 11, and 12 and they too work fine. Includes brand new pinch roller. The four cards missing are as follows. INTERNAL CONTROLLER SR/A 1.820.824.00. TRAFOLESS 1.820.715.83. HF-DRIVER 1.820.813.81. Time counter and both LCD screens are working perfectly, as are all transport buttons and Shuttle and Set/Cue wheels. All buttons throughout are fully operational and work great. All I/O is in perfect working order as well. Overall working condition is very good. UNPACKAGED WEIGHT: 548 lbs.
