This Velvet Audio rack contains a matched pair of BFE Filtek SB3 Vinatge limiters. The modules were used as master limiter in broadcast studios a they have the highest quality. They use input and output transformers which are responsable for the natural, warm and colored sound. This new rack provides a very spezial function. With the x-former 1 / 2 switch you can have a second output for monitoring (position 1) or the transformers are wired in series to arise the coloring (postion 2). The level was matched so you can compare the sound with using the switch. The SB3 is definitely adding a warm and natural Vintage sound and y. Ou are enabled to arise the RMS level a lot.
