Tested this module and found the basic 8 step sequencing fun but the deeper options like getting one note to last longer than another just too hard for me to remember. I put it back in the box. Has been stored safely in my cupboard for a couple of years and now decided to sell.

Klark Teknik KT-2A with a T4BLA Optical cell upgrade. I’ve owned this unit since new and upgraded the cell shortly after purchasing it making it a very good sounding unit with both my ISA and Neve preamps driving it. I’ve managed to produce many great vocal and bass guitar mixes with it! The unit itself is in great working and visual condition with out and rack rash or scratches. It also comes in its original box with instructions and un opened power cable.

This spec unit is a transformer-less type for some cost savings and different flavour. Balanced inputs into a multi way diode circuit with level controls for diode clip/distortion. Sort of a blend function. We also offer transformer balanced versions. Unique design and well featured for such a small footprint unit. Fully balanced in/out with TRS 1/4 sockets and hard bypass fitted to A/B the signal. Vintage Germanium diodes – Classic very rounded signal and huge crunch/clip at lower levels. Shottkey diodes – Very similar to the Germanium but with a faster speed. Silicon diodes for a more modern squarer sound. LED requiring a higher level to trigger the “threshold”. 1/4 input and output connections – Balanced. 6 way diode control selection. Diode level drive to fine tune. Balanced input and output. I have seen similar to these being used for mastering and with great results too. The idea here is to “change” and colour signals. Each unit we build will have unique specs and workings so a great way of getting unique changes to recordings. These are designed to handle quite high levels before maxing out so can sound very clean too and are also perfect as hum eliminator and balanced to unbalanced, unbalanced to balanced convertors.
