Emulator II Sampler Model 6028. Includes Owner’s Manual. ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: This item comes as seen in photos, includes an Emulator II Owner’s manual and power cord and does not include any additional accessories. Does not include any diskettes. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Very Good – The record button-switch cap in the sequencer section is broken off, but all other button-switches, controls, and all keys are fully intact and in very good shape. Sliders all have their caps, also in fine shape. Display is in great shape as well. Overall condition is very good. WORKING CONDITION: Good – The sampling and playback functions were tested and working great. All keys are in perfect working order. Both left and right wheels are working perfectly as well. The is a one-pixel-wide vertical line missing on the display but the information on the display is still easily readable. Button-switches and their associated LED indicators in each section are working, though if pressed and changed too quickly the unit will sometimes freeze. May need some servicing just to get it back into tip top performance level, but overall condition is good. UNPACKAGED WEIGHT: 52.30 lbs. UNPACKAGED DIMENSIONS: 18.5″ x 40″ x 9. E-MU Emulator III EIII Digital Sound Production System (Aftertouch is faulty). The Emulator III (EIII) is a classic 80’s professional sampler workstation / Digital Sound Production System. Sampler at the time could be found in many big production studios. The EIII has CD. Specs, 44.1kHz or 22kHz sampling. Extensive sample editing features, a 16 track sequencer, CEM filter chips, arpeggiator, MIDI, SMPTE, SCSI, Stereo output plus 16. Outs plus much more! The EIII has been used in the production of many famous artists albums like Janet Jackson, Depeche Mode, Genesis, Yanni, Dr Dre, Hector Zazou and more! This is a used unit. This unit is in excellent condition only showing some minor wear from general use over the years mostly on the back panel. This unit has had a minor service and has been tested. We can confirm it is functional. This unit has one fault. This is that the aftertouch is not working very well. The EIII is known to have a sluggish aftertouch, on this one it is very hard to press in some places and more responsive in others. This is the 8MB model. It’s also in pretty good cosmetic condition, but this is a used item from 1993. So at over 25 years old, it does have some scratches to the casing and some very fine ones on the screen but really nothing major, and no dents or damage. The fascia is in excellent condition but does have a small fascia screw missing. Please look carefully at the photo’s as they will give you a better idea of the condition. They also form part of the description. It will require a signature and will also be fully insured despite what the listing says. I will cover the cost of that myself.
