For sale vintage OKTAVA MK-219 condenser mic. Made in the USSR in 1988. Fully checked and inspected. Requires standard 48V phantom power. The sound is full, reach, detailed and transparent. Please keep in mind that this is not a modern black cheap version, in 1986 year OKTAVA still manufactured the greatest capsules, like the ones which were used in MK-13 or MK-13M. This MK-219`s uses very similar ones, as well as they uses the similar high-quality vintage OKTAVA transformers. The capsule employs an extremely thin, gold plated diaphragm and is built to a classic design, enabling the microphone to equal or outperform models many times its price, not only on subjective sound quality but also, in many cases, in terms of sensitivity. When used for vocals, the large diaphragm capsule adds warmth and enhanceshigh frequency detail while still sounding completely natural. It is strongly recommended that the microphone be used in conjunction with a pop filter when close miking vocals. The Oktava MK219s high sensitivity means that it can be used on acoustic guitars, pianos and (in stereo matched pairs, available by special order) for ensemble recordings. This keyboard has been recently serviced and brought into 100% working condition. Electrolytic caps have been replaced, tempcos have been replaced, it has been recently tuned, calibrated and cleaned. Every knob and slider works and produces an infinite array of incredible sounds. A video demonstration of this ARP SOLUS can be viewed here… The VCOs and VCF have been thoroughly inspected and function perfectly. Ring Mod, CV/Gate/Trigger/Audio Input and Pedal inputs all function as they should. The ARP Solus is a light and portable fat sounding synth. The Solus is monophonic with 2 oscillators that include pulse-width-modulation and a digital ring modulator. An FM slider allows for an external sound source to be ring modulated through VCO #1 which gives this synth added function as an analog ring modulator perfect for creating wacky sounds. A great sounding ARP VCF (filter) adds a nice touch. Pitch bending is accomplished using a simple knob. Designed for portability this synth comes packaged in a very nicely built road case. It has been used by Tangerine Dream. The synthesizer works great and all the keys produce sounds, all the keys have bushings and nice action.
