A single channel version vintage transformer colour and audio enhanced box. Build to a very high standard using a vintage 1960s Vortexion transformer. As used in their classic valve mixers and reel to reel recorders. Jose Meek used this in some of his units too. I have been asked if i could add a diode clipper to these units. I could add that if wanted. Neutrik XLR input with 1/4 TRS too – Balanced input. XLR tbalanced line output. Ground lift switch on the XLR outputs. Vintage British 1960s Vortexion transformer. Output attenuation controls – 6 way control which allows you to drive the inputs and back off the hot outputs. Balanced 600 ohm input and 600 output. All built into a cool little desktop case. The idea here is to “change” and colour signals. Each unit we build will have unique specs and workings so a great way of getting unique changes to recordings. These are designed to handle quite high levels before maxing out so can sound very clean too and are also perfect as hum eliminator and balanced to unbalanced, unbalanced to balanced convertors.
