CV addressable sequencer/switch module for eurorack synths. You can check my soldering on the 3rd and last photos if you want! All in full working order. Showing a bit of surface-level fraying around the screw holes but otherwise in good condition. This is one of the most adaptable step sequencers you could think of. The sliders act as offsets or as attenuators for multiple different inputs per-step. Externally clockable or as clock for your whole setup, CV addressable sequencing rather than simply step-by-step, and the built in CV-able stutter/trigger multiplier make for a fantastic sequencing centrepiece, plus the expander (multiple expanders can even be chained together) only makes for more creative rhythmic possibilities. Will include screws, power cable and expander connector cable.

That said there are many modules that require clock to sync with this module you can play / slow down the clock being sent to units linked to this. This powerful device from 4ms boasts an impressive set of features that make it ideal for musicians and sound designers. With its clock distribution capabilities and advanced sequencing functions, users can create complex rhythms and patterns with ease. Four channel voltage controlled Clock Divider/Multiplier with master Tap Tempo. Each channel can be synced to the tap tempo, to the channel above, or to an external clock. Each channel also has a reset jack. With a Tap Tempo button and five sync’ed clock outputs, the QCD is a versatile head-of-the-chain “Master” clock module, and/or a complex rhythmic pattern generator. Four CV-controlled Clock Divider/Multipliers. Tap tempo button and five sync’ed clock outputs make the QCD perfect for head-of-the-chain “Master” clock module. Tap clock output runs at the tapped tempo (even if other channels are being clocked externally). Create complex rhythmic patterns by patching multiple channels into each other’s Div/Mult CV and Reset. Each of the four channels has an independent clock IN, OUT, Reset and Div/Mult CV. Divide or Multiply incoming clock from /32 to x16 on each channel. Detented knob to snap to integer division/multiples. CV jack to modulate Div/Mult amount. Reset jack (per channel) restarts the clock when a trigger is received (alters phase of clock). Clock input jacks are normalized downwards: Tap->Red->Black->Blue->Green. Clock outputs stop automatically when incoming clock stops. LEDs blink to output clocks’ tempos. 5V clock output pulses, fully buffered. Default is square-wave, and PW is controllable with expander. Daisy chain multiple QCDs or other clock modules using Tap Out jack. Header on the PCB to connect to Quad Pingable LFO (QPLFO) to provide four CV Skew-able, CV Div/Mult-able envelopes. Interfaces with QCD Expander for more features (Pulse Width, Inverted Gate, attenuverters for CV inputs). Connects to QCD module with a 16-conductor ribbon cable (included). More features are added to each QCD channel. Global LED brightness can be adjusted from the front panel. 4ms Quad Clock Distributor Expander Module. Expansion module for the Quad Clock Distributor (QCD). The Expander turns the QCD into a programmatic non-linear sequencer, allowing you to easily create everything from self-patched evolving rhythms, to swing / shuffle patterns, to classic dance beats. The Gatex is an expander/gate of some sophistication, with four independent processing channels housed in a single rack-unit. Steel and aluminium chassis has all its connectors on the rear panel, and all the controls, including the power switch, on the front panel, making permanent rack installation no problem. Each channel offers input, output, and’key’ input connections via jacks, with both the signal and key inputs being balanced but compatible with unbalanced sources. The output is unbalanced and capable of driving +21dB (ref 0.775V) into 600ohms or more, so interfacing with high-level’pro’ equipment or low-level format gear is equally feasible. Front panel controls are identical for each channel, consisting of three rotary controls for Threshold, Range, and Release in addition to two miniature three-way switches which govern both the selection of gating or expansion modes and the source of the control signal.
