ASM Hydrasynth Explorer – Faulty – For Repair or Use Without Reverb. This Hydrasynth Explorer is in mint cosmetic condition and comes with the original PSU, all original retail packaging, and a Decksaver (included). Everything on the unit works perfectly. Except the internal reverb effect. Fault Description (fully transparent). On a fresh INIT patch with no modulation active. Raising the Reverb Level causes extremely loud static/white noise. Even with no keys pressed. This fault is 100% repeatable. Factory reset, patch wipe, and firmware reinstall do not resolve it. All other functions work correctly. Oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs. Other FX delay, chorus, etc. Patch loading and saving. Keybed, pads, encoders and menu. Audio outputs (when reverb is off). ASM support advised that this would require repair by a local distributor or service centre (likely a mainboard / DSP repair). Due to the fault being clearly described. Ideal for someone who repairs synths, needs spare parts, or wants a Hydrasynth Explorer for use with external effects only. ASM Hydrasynth Explorer (mint condition). Original box & internal packaging. A great unit for a repair tech, project synth, or anyone happy to run external reverb.

ASM Hydrasynth Desktop 8-Voice Polyphonic Wave Morphing Synthesizer. Bought new in December (only 3 months old with original packaging, screen stickers still on, in mint condition). Its a great synth, easy to use, lots of fun. It has all of the extensive routing ability of plugins but with this lovely 70s presentation, nice knobs and intuitive workflow. The arpeggiator is fantastic! The pad buttons are great and can be set chromatic, Fret board or octaves in any key signature starting on any note. Well built and nice and heavy with 640 memory slots and a nice organiser app to go with it for saving patches on a computer. Then theres the random button which will keep you going for years.
