The Austrian Audio OC18 Condenser Microphone, Studio Set is the perfect microphone for any songwriter producer or engineer. Built by hand in Vienna, the OC18 large-diaphragm condenser comes complete with a cardioid polar pattern. Thanks to this, recording is as simple as pointing the microphone in-front of the source and pressing record. It’ll take care of the rest. The cardioid polar pattern ensures excellent focus with almost perfect rejection of undesirable, off-axis sound. This proves particularly useful in live multi-instrument sessions and noisy environments. Get the sound right at source. The wide range of features on-board allows you to get the sound great before it even hits the preamp. Utilise the -10dB and -20dB pads to reduce the microphone’s sensitivity. Engage these when recording instruments such as drums and amplifiers with particularly high SPLs. This is perfect for eradicating any risk of clipping and distortion. The three position, adjustable high-pass filter allows you to decrease the OC18’s low-frequency pick-up. From the makers of the original C12, C414, and C214 studio microphones, this is their modern version of those classics, and it’s made in Viena, Austria. Austrian Audio is a relatively new company, formed by the very same engineers. Sparingly used, only in a home environment, and in mint condition. Boxed (including aluminium case) with all original accessories included. The pop filter has never been used. This is incorrect, as I post to UK only.
