A most unique pair of Martin Hannett Tannoy Chatsworth Monitor Golds from his home studio wall of speakers- these were built specially for him by Tannoy in the 1970s with a unique bi amp option so you can run the speakers as normal Tannoys by patching the treble and bass sockets together or you can run the bass and treble off separate amps. These unique speakers are featured on the back cover of the new 2017 book ” Martin Hannett – his Equipment and Strawberry Studios “. Martin Hannett had a wall of hi fi speakers and studio monitors in his home studio and he took mixes home from recording studios to re mix in that room. These speakers belonged to the man that produced records by Joy Division, John Cooper Clarke, U2, Buzzcocks, Nico, New Order, Magazine, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, and many others. These speakers are very rare and will climb in value as the years go by.
