Looking to sell to fund a new console, please see my other listings! Everything is available to check out at my studio in Walsden (OL14 6QF), preferred collection/and sensible offers are fine too – but please be prepared to pay soon after, if your offer is accepted. For sale is this Calrec M3 (MiniMixer – 26 Mic Pre’s), 7 x Klotz custom DB50 to Neutrik TRS 1/4inch Jack cables (custom direct output wiring for the M3 – cost over 500 alone), ITV rack mounted Linear Power Supply unit + Cable, Wooden panel sides & optional added extras of 4 x Calrec Limiter/Dynamics DL-3678 these are expensive add ons! On the upstand (on top of the 2 limiters on each Main out channel strip) + Calrec M3 manual (with all pin outs/and module info and options). I got this directly from Calrec about 20 mins from my house – made in Hebden Bridge, and since then Ive had custom Klotz DB50 cables made up for all the direct outputs for monitoring/recording – all out to TRS 1/4 inch Neutrik Jacks, to suit whatever line inputs you have/or to a patchbay to your DAW/converters etc. ALSO RECENTLY FOUND THE CALREC SILVER DUST COVER – WHICH I’ll INCLUDE IN THE SALE TOO. This particular model is spec’d out as the below – and I believe was an ex-back-up for broadcast at ITV. I’ve had it for around a year and half, direct from Calrec. Age is around 1999/2002 period I believe, but as it’s modular, I’m not a hundred percent on each modules age. Sounds incredible, really clean transients, and I love it! Sad to see it go, but funds are needed towards another console for a digital based system. 14 x PQ5122 Dual Mono channel strips (2 inputs – either or – per channel on XLR at the back) – switchable 2nd input from Mic to Line on internal dip switches – This have 3 bands of EQ, with sweepable frequencies, 4 x auxes + dedicated Direct outs trim. 6 x PQ5123 Stereo channel strips (L&R or mono). 4 x stereo Groups/buses XL5126 also have direct inputs. 1 x Main 1 output LC5127 + 1 x Main 2 output LC5128 (both have dynamics you can add into the path). 1 x ML4952 & 1 x ML4953 (Control room & Studio LS) – these are the 2 modules I never use, as I don’t monitor this way, most of the functions work on these channels I believe, but I’m not 100% so please be aware of that if you’re looking at using these 2 extra modules exclusives etc. 4 x optional extra Calrec compressor/limiters – DL3678-2 (linkable and accessible via the upstand underneath). 2 x MU3663 VU Meters (capable of M/S and monitoring both Main outputs). The only issues I know about this desk entirely are one green plastic knob is missing on group 2 (which I can get hold of if you want from Calrec) & some of the Loud speaker settings on the last two control room Master modules, dont seem to route 100% to my knowledge, though this could likely be some of the dip switches inside routed incorrectly. I use this desk purely for recording/monitoring outputs/summing and basically everything else up til the last 2 strips as I dont need to monitor analogue out through LS on my set up! If you want to look more into this, Calrec as a company are super helpful and really knowledgable on this stuff, so I definitely recommend checking out their stuff. So select collection (preferred) which is obviously free or feel free to just give me a shout to arrange an alternative. Any questions or other pics (there’s a lot), let me know! I’ll do my best to help. The item “Calrec M3 Console + Klotz Cabling + Linear PSU & Calrec Cover (Ex BBC Neve ITV)” is in sale since Friday, September 14, 2018.
