Sony DMX R100 digital mixing console, including MADI card, 2x AES/EBU cards and seated in a custom desk. The console is in excellent condition; all inputs, faders, touchscreen work without issue. It has been a reliable workhorse with frequent, but gentle use. This mighty console has fantastic mic preamps, flexible routing, intuitive automation and the famous Sony Oxford EQ/Dynamics on every channel. With MIDI interfaces I believe you can even use the console as a control surface. Every fader is motorised and the console will sync to timecode to facilitate complex, automated mixes. You can also connect the console to a PC to store/recall your mixes. After trying a variety of different ITB automation setups with other control surfaces, mixing on this console remains my favourite method, and seems to yield the best results by far. The onboard preamps are have a large, detailed and clear sound. There are 24 in total, 12 have phantom power. The console supports sample rates upto 96kHz. The MADI card means access to full 48 channel I/O. It’s been awesome working on this console and I will be sad to see it go. The desk is extremely flexible, easy to use and most important, it sounds fantastic. My custom desk is also included, it has 19″ bays to the left and right of the console, plus the pedestals also fit 19″ equipment. It’s approx 2.5m long, 75cm deep and 100cm high. It will dismantle easily for transport. If you’d like further reading, here’s some technical resources. The console needs to be collected from Warwick (CV35 area, 5mins from M40 J15).
