ASM Hydrasynth Explorer – Faulty – For Repair or Use Without Reverb. This Hydrasynth Explorer is in mint cosmetic condition and comes with the original PSU, all original retail packaging, and a Decksaver (included). Everything on the unit works perfectly. Except the internal reverb effect. Fault Description (fully transparent). On a fresh INIT patch with no modulation active. Raising the Reverb Level causes extremely loud static/white noise. Even with no keys pressed. This fault is 100% repeatable. Factory reset, patch wipe, and firmware reinstall do not resolve it. All other functions work correctly. Oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs. Other FX delay, chorus, etc. Patch loading and saving. Keybed, pads, encoders and menu. Audio outputs (when reverb is off). ASM support advised that this would require repair by a local distributor or service centre (likely a mainboard / DSP repair). Due to the fault being clearly described.
